Oh, @anonymousse, I have an IUD (Mirena). I had super bad periods. Cramps that made me throw up. Blood clots came out the size of ping pong balls, causing anemia. I’d go through a super tampon in 45 minutes. The IUD helped. My gyno said that many of her patients will keep it through menopause because it greatly helps w/ symptoms. I only mention this since you’re making the choice whether to continue w/ BC.

They husband finally got a vasectomy last year, but I’m still staying on it, probably through menopause.
