@Anonymousse unfortunately I actually have come a long way in terms of independence and being my own person, but as you can tell I have a loooong way to go still, that just shows you how bad things were at one point in time. Honestly the best path for me (my own opinion, as well as my therapist’s opinion long term for me) would be to be low to possibly no contact with my mother but the way the broader family is structured at the moment I can’t quite yet, but that’s on the horizons. Until that can happen though I really do need to get my act together with all of this. Thank you for the luck!
