You have to kind of will yourself to stay sane and hold on to what you know to be true. And what helps me to do that is not just follow the news (I have to for my job too), but also follow historians and analysts who can help you understand what the patterns are and what it means. At least for me. Maybe other people need to stay in denial, but I think that’s going to bite them. I just re-read 1984 (don’t, haha), and I think it’s very important to actually know and understand what’s going on.
