I definitely don’t buy the “weed isn’t addictive” line. I think for many people it’s not, but for many people it is. It becomes a daily habit that they can’t quit. If you need to smoke every day, or regularly, to feel okay, then it’s addictive, and I don’t think it really matters whether you call that physical or mental. Although I do hear you about the physical withdrawal of coming off alcohol or opiates being very serious / life-threatening. That’s true.
