Oh my god. This is wonderful. Jackson looks so excited! And you look amazing! I hope I look half as good after having a baby. I almost sent you an email with a question last night, but for some reason decided you may not get to it before the baby (and turns out I was right!) so I’ll just post it in the forums.

I love those photos, they are so lovely. Definitely a framer as a collage.
I’m also loving going through the list bit by bit, it’s a great idea. I must admit being fascinated by the discussion on 50 life skills saying we should know how to hold and change a baby. No shame in my game but I’ve never learned those things precisely because I’ve never wanted to do them. Admittedly I’ve held babies with guidance here and there but I think the last one was….. 2007? Anyway, point being my friends know that I am definitely not the one to call in a babysitting emergency and I think that’s ok. We all have our strengths and weaknesses 🙂

I can’t hold/change a baby either. I mean, I probably can hold one without dropping it and could probably change one if I were the last person on earth (and the baby), but as an only child who never had children…. why clutter my brain with skillz I don’t need? I will leave that stuff to the pros.

I really can’t get over it. Last night she woke up maybe three times and was back to sleep as soon as she was changed and fed, no fussing or anything. I’ve slept way better the last two nights that we’ve been home than I did the last couple months of pregnancy. Maybe hard pregnancy = easy baby (I had an easy pregnancy with jackson and a challenging baby). Hope you get an easy baby too!
