GuestKind of weird but my ex and I still have each other on social media. The breakup is recent and today he posted a stuffed animal on his social media changes. I literally can’t think of any reason why he’d post it unless it was showing off a gift he got? Potentially from a romantic interest? Am I overthinking or is there a good chance he moved on?

GuestYou’re overthinking it, but, you’ve also broken up, so best just assume he is or will move on and do the same. If seeing his posts on social media makes that harder, unfollow him for now.
CopaParticipantIt could be anything. Social media can drive you crazy after a break up if you let it. Highly recommend taking a break from social media and/or deleting him for your own peace of mind.

GuestIt could be anything, it could be for a relative, a colluege in hospital, a gift for a friend’s kid or maybe he just felt like posting it.
You are overthinking this. Maybe take a 3 month break from him on social and unfollow on everything. Then you can come back later and reassess.
