    It’s your local. A regular doesn’t need an invitation to their own local. It’s one thing to ask if one of your fellow regulars will be there. The answer is either yes or no, depending on that person’s plans.

    Yes, I think she’s looking to validate this friendship. Is she really wanted? LW: I think it depends on whether this is a friend or a best friend? I have a close-to-best-friend that doesn’t always put out the ‘I want to see you!’ vibe. Sometimes I feel like there should be more. Sometimes, just when I think I should kind of let the relationship drift out to sea, she’s reach out with an invite or something similar. After 5 years, I’ve learned that it’s just her style. She uses ‘sounds good’ too, which used to seem a big wishy-washy to me, but now I see she is just a very laid-back individual. ♥
