Participantyou could try Levi’s. Not SUPER cheap, but like $50 cheap. They’ve got some tight ones ive worn in boots

Participantbethany –
Buy a pair of jeans that are just a little too tight, because they almost always stretch. I even do this with expensive, “designer” jeans because there is always some stretch. After an hour, they’ll fit perfectly.
My favorite skinny jeans, but they’re expensive – around $150 – are AG Stevies. I bought them last winter, wear them about two times a week, and the color and stretch are still good!

ParticipantIs Wendy coming to visit me in Anchorage?! I’d sooo like that. I’ve got vacation time (surprisingly). Although, I would really recommend coming in the summer instead of the winter.

Participantyeah if you want a pair that is cheap i would go with jeggings from old navy. if you’re willing to invest a little more I second the levi’s. they tend to be more true to the skinny fit and i also like ktfran generally buy any jeans with some stretch a size smaller. the issue with old navy jeans and jeggings is they won’t hold their shape/color as well as levi’s or a more expensive brand. so you’ll probably only get one year out of them if you wear them a lot.

Participant“Us” like you and me Wendy? Suhweet! Oh, or “us” like us plus thoze other guyz who read this blog? That’s ok too I guess. But really everybody already knows all about me. So if this new thing will bring more lurkers out, I’m all for it!

ParticipantKnowing the size smaller thing has helped me tremendously. I even ask sales people about the stretch of jean so I’m informed while buying. They almost always tell me to go with the tighter pair so they don’t end up sagging.

Participantexactly. I keep that in mind when I’m in the store trying on. I go for “just a little too tight” because they will ALWAYs loosen up. No one wants saggy butt. It is not a look I wish to bring back.
The other pair of jeans i love (so much that i bought two pair) are Jcrew highwaisted skinny. They even come in talls!

ParticipantTrust me, Saggy Butt has never been a problem for me!! Bethany’s got Back, if you know what I mean 🙂
I’ll try Levi’s, and I’ll try Old Navy again… Maybe they changed them a little since last year?

Participantbethany: then you will be very happy to know that Levi’s has the solution to the ‘gap butt’ and other problems. They have a ‘curve ID’ so you can get your jeans in the length you need as well as plenty of bottom room! really, it’s the best price for something that will last and looks good.

ParticipantIn case anyone is wondering, I have succeeded in my quest for a jegging that fits!! I went to Express at lunch today and got 2 pairs (B1G1 for 29.50!!). Yay! Now I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair of black riding boots.
