I agree with AJ. I didn’t invite my mother to my wedding—- for many very good reasons. I was getting a lot of push back from my maternal family and I actually wrote into Wendy for advice. I had a variation of what AJ suggested memorized. I was surprised on the day how no one brought it up. It was a wonderful day and even though I didn’t need the memorized statement, it did defuse my anxiety. Good luck and I hope you can enjoy your day!
