Oh yeah. I read that wrong. Of course he can call the police, but no one’s going to listen to this kid.December 1, 2019 at 11:29 am #862218BittergaymarkGuest
Oh good grief. Hunter — for real — I am beginning to think you are either mentally ill or otherwise somehow mentally challenged. You clearly have no grasp of even the most basic of logic.December 1, 2019 at 11:31 am #862219SkyblossomParticipant
The police should take his concerns seriously. If he hasn’t had a run in with the police they should come and check out the situation. Being chased by dogs is a legitimate concern and could be a safety hazard for the entire community.
First he needs to figure out what the law is for his area.
I think he’s doing fine coming here for advice. He’s realized that the advice he gets from his family isn’t good so he looks for other advice.December 1, 2019 at 11:37 am #862221
I can’t imagine anyone taking him seriously, the way he expresses himself. And I know this sounds mean, but I don’t believe much of what he tells us.December 1, 2019 at 11:55 am #862224SkyblossomParticipant
I don’t think it is at all unbelievable that he is having trouble with dogs. There are great dog owners and terrible dog owners everywhere. If you live in an area where homes have yards you get all sorts. We have a neighbor two doors down that is a terrible dog owner. Their dogs usually don’t last more than one to two years because they allow them to roam. They don’t train them to stay on their property. Over the years two of those dogs have made me feel unsafe in my own yard. They show up and do the warning kind of barks. The get out of my yard type of barking. One of them would always get between me and my house and I would have to slowly work my way back to my house to get inside. That dog got run over. I’m not sure what has happened to the rest. In rural areas if your dog starts running people shoot it if it causes them any trouble. A dog coming out of a chicken house gets shot because it will be killing chickens. A dog chasing cattle gets shot because it will either attack the cattle or run them in the heat which can cause them to die. Dogs love to chase things.
I personally don’t find it hard to understand what he is saying. I think the police can handle it.December 1, 2019 at 12:02 pm #862227BittergaymarkGuest
Hunter, you need to radically rethink how You express yourself. Everything sounds like b.s.December 1, 2019 at 12:05 pm #862228anonymousseParticipant
He doesn’t just come here for advice though, he also posts in multiple subs on reddit. He will delete and repost until he’s edited his posts down to try and get the advice he wants. I don’t think he comes for advice, he looks for validation. For some reason he likes to poll as big of a group as he can and see the consensus. I still believe he responds the way he wants to. He probably posted this on reddit, got negative feedback and came here to see what we’d say. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are details missing here, or exaggerations. Or he’s already confronted them. That’s par for the course with Hunter.
The problem is, he can’t think about an issue rationally and come to a decision himself. He can’t think on his feet. He doesn’t employ logic or common sense. Usually, his queries for advice come after the fact, or during.December 1, 2019 at 12:26 pm #862229
Yup. Like no kidding, people have issues with dogs. I used to deliver for Meals on Wheels and one lady had a pit bull that would growl at me. I’m not stupid, Skyblossom. I just don’t believe most of what Hunter in particular says.December 1, 2019 at 12:38 pm #862231
Like with the youth center incident, he said repeatedly that his mom was going to go down there and get the guy fired. Which obviously she never did because the details of the story were altered AF to make Hunter look good. And if you look at his Reddit, there are about 20 versions of the incident, including one where he wrote in neon green on the side of the building that the youth center guy has a small penis. Pretty sure everyone knows that dogs can bother people. I’m not sure why that’s even presented as something people need to be educated on.
Maybe I”m stereotyping, but I don’t know a lot of teenage boys who would genuinely spend this much time online talking to adults (mostly women) to get advice about their life. I assume it’s entertainment for him.December 1, 2019 at 1:16 pm #862238FyodorGuest
I dunno. I get the impression that he doesn’t have much in the way of an adult support network so it’s not so unbelievable to me.December 1, 2019 at 1:30 pm #862239
It’s for attention. And validation. He posts hourly on reddit to try to get some engagement. BUT if, in the process, he hears the same things over and over, some of it has to sink in.
