A friend wore cream to my wedding, I didn’t care. And then I wore red to hers, not even thinking, she’s Chinese so I guess that was a no no as well. I hope she didn’t think I was “retaliating”. I highly doubt it though, she knows me too well.
How well do you know the bride? If you know her well enough to know her reaction for sure, then go ahead. If you can’t be sure, then why risk it?
I would have agreed with you Kate, but I really struggled to find anything that I liked that I also thought looked good. I’d never choose a floral white normally, but it looks so good on.
I don’t think the bride would care or would think anything of it, and I really even doubt she is wearing white, but I don’t want to needlessly offend all the needlessly offended…I’ll find a dress that’s not white.
