My uncle brought me an electric bike shortly after my auntie passed away for Christmas. I lent the bike to at the time my ex boyfriend but now my boyfriend. He left it at his friend’s house and when it come to collecting it the friend said it had been stolen from his garden. I have concrete proof he sold it and my boyfriend knows this. This happened month’s ago now but My boyfriend continues to be friends with him. Every time they exchange any messages I feel really annoyed and betrayed. He’s never has any reprocutions from stealing my hike it just hurts me that my boyfriend can let this slide how should I feel?

I can’t tell you how to feel, but one thing you could do is dump this guy who you’ve already had at least one breakup with, who left your expensive possession at his friend’s house (best case… worst case he helped sell it) where it was stolen and still hangs out with the guy.

Dump the prick. Seriously. He and his friend ripped you off and you’re just la-dee-da accepting it. They stole your bike and sold it. Call the police. Report the theft. Dump the idiot. Don’t date men until you can tell good ones apart from petty thieves.

Why are you asking us how you should feel when you’re telling us how you actually do feel? You feel hurt, angry, and betrayed — all of these feelings are valid!

You feel how you feel. If you feel betrayed, hurt, taken advantage of, I wouldn’t blame you at all. Your bf’s friend is a thief and your bf clearly doesn’t care enough about you to make up for it. The fact that he didn’t even offer to make it right says a lot about him.

Take your proof, go to the police if you can. Get your money back.
