I think a lot of women have been with guys so bad that when a nice guy comes along, they want to try and try because they aren’t even used to the bare minimum of respect from men. Maybe that’s not what’s happening here.
If anyone ever asks you can say you went through some real jerks. You don’t have to tell anyone up what happened to you, or what’s you did. It’s not sinful to have grown through therapy and be doing better. Stoping shaming yourself.
You can’t change your past. You also don’t have to beat yourself up for mistakes you made before. Forgive yourself. That’s an important part of therapy.
