Son at home

My son is 19 and spends most of his time at home. Soon after the pandamic started I saw my son walk from the shower to his room nude. I took it as a mishap. He seems to be flashing me? as time went on I would see home more often. Last week 1 day he did not get dressed at all. what ever he did rather it was watching tv or eating a sandwich. He has never stopped to ask me how I feel about it. The way he was going I thought he was going to ask me to join him, but he hasnt His dad drives truck he is gone 2 nights home 1. All this is when his dad is working. I know he is safe here but have wondered what would happen if he was ouut and did something like that. Could csuse major problums. I am at at a loss as to how to handle this. What do you think?

Weird that you think he’s going around nude at home “at you” somehow. If that’s true, he needs to gtfo.

I would just say, “hey Josh, you share this house with other people. You need to have clothes on. Go get dressed.” If he refuses, then tell him that’s unacceptable and he needs to find his own place. Give him 3 months to find a place and move out if he won’t follow the house rules.

Eh… That’s quite the leap there, LW… to assume that simply because somebody is occasional nude in sanctuary of their own home, that they plan to start walking all around town nude…

I dunno. Try buying him a nice robe. Or some pajamas.

I don’t understand why you can’t say, “Hey, if you’re going to be out of your room, put on some clothes.”

Some people just don’t like wearing clothes.
It sounds like he’s going by the philosophy “if someone has problem with it, they’ll tell me”.
