KeymasterI mean, yes, this is all his fault.
I don’t want him to go out like this though. I want him to lose and suffer and be prosecuted by NY.
LisforLeslie
Guest@Kate- exactly. Dying is too easy a way out. The hoaxers would go crazy and we’d have Pence in the office which could give never-trumpers an out and the evangelicals who’ve become disgusted with el-Cheeto could come back to the fold.
I want revenge. I want the dismantling of his “fortune”, his business and I want to see his children turn on each other to see who can get a better deal from the prosecutors. Tiffie can put her law degree to use.

GuestIt’s possible I’m reading too much into this but it seems like this supercell of new virus cases from the Rosegarden gathering could inadvertently delay the supreme court nomination. at least two senators have tested positive and I thought I read somewhere there was opposition to holding a vote virtually?
And now I’m reading the press secretary has also tested positive…
veritek33
Participant@Bondgirl that’s correct. McConnell won’t allow remote voting and if enough members of the senate judiciary committee test positive and have to quarantine, they would not have a quorum in order to vote on her confirmation.
Karma.
Copa
ParticipantYeah, I’ve been waiting for Kayleigh to test positive. And Barr.
Kate
KeymasterNow, more absolutely stunning disregard for human life as he leaves the hospital before it’s safe and tells Americans not to be afraid of coronavirus; it’s not that bad, and besides, there are all these great therapeutics (that regular Americans don’t have access to). I didn’t expect this to make him empathetic, but WOW.
Copa
ParticipantYep. I saw his Twitter post, too, and read a few comments to the tune of: “See how fast he recovered? What a hoax!” I’m sure he’s still contagious/ill with a a couple more days of treatment (at least!) ahead of him at the White House, so we’ll see if he keeps super-spreading this thing, and I am not convinced he’s out of the woods yet. So many people seemed to feel better at some point just for their condition to deteriorate.

GuestHe’s feeling good because he’s been pumped full of steroids so he has tons of energy and it’s going to tamp down his fever and open up his lungs. Once the steroids are stopped, he’ll feel like crap and his energy levels will be below normal. He can’t stay on steroids for weeks without damaging his heart.
The next debate is planned for 10 days out from his return from the hospital.
No one else gets all of these treatments, and certainly not this early. Shithead forgets that for most of the pandemic you had to be actively and presentably ill to even get a test let alone novel treatments.
Not a lick of freaking empathy; the minute he returned to the WH he took off his mask exposing everyone.
Fyodor
GuestYeah, the taking off of the mask was grotesque.
Even as I am horrified, there’s an astounding literary quality to it. The president who has refused to contain the pandemic is personally walking around the white house coughing covid all over his subordinates, a living avatar of the Republican party’s desire to spread the Coronavirus
Part-time Lurker
GuestIs anyone REEEEALLY surprised by any of this?
Kate
KeymasterNot surprised but still shocked. It’s horrifying.
Hazel
ParticipantThe man is a raging cockwomble he’s like a pantomime baddie but without the likability; it gets harder and harder to believe that anyone might vote him in ever again and yet I’m told that this is a distinct possibility, which is terrifying.
