We’re still working out some issues, specifically in the forums and how the site formats on mobile devices, so don’t panic if things aren’t quite right just yet. Is anyone else using IE? I can´t see Wendy´s posts or the forums, I can only see the comments. And to see the recent comments/forum activity I have to scroll all the way down. Is it meant to be like that? I suck at technology.

Just checked on Chrome and there it is working fine, so it must just be an issue with IE.

We’re going to stop working on the site for the evening, but tomorrow, the developer — a fellow DW reader — will work on this issue and the remaining issues, including how the site appears on mobile devices. We’re almost there! This has been many weeks in progress, so I’m excited it’s almost complete and hope you all like it when it’s finally totally done.

I had the same problem when using IE. I only saw the comments when I clicked the headline link. I can see everything using FF, though.
Related: Slate just updated their page and I now have to view that on FF, too. I never had a problem with either page on IE before.

Aw… The only photo was taken spur of the moment two weeks after jackson was born — I was about 15-20 lbs. heavier and not posing specifically for a head shot. It was only meant to be temporary and then… well, taking care of a baby sort of distracted me. Glad you like the site.

you might have done this but while on my phone if i tab all the way to the bottom, i can see the forum and comment links. but, it’s below all the columns.
the new site looks very snazzy wendy! and i like the different colored lines showing different conversations in the thread, maybe i’ll stop commenting to the wrong person this way! 😉

I’ve got this weird floating banner ad that’s blocking most of the text, I’m not sure its specific to this site as I’ve seen the same issues on Blisstree and other blogs. When i try to tab to the bottom and click on anything i get the ad instead.
