Thanks Copa! We’ll be with a not-quite-3 year old so some of that is out (lots of walking or biking isn’t really up his alley), but some is great! My husband *really* wants to go to Shedd, so I’m thinking we’re going to end up there anyway. I went to the Museum of Science and Industry in High School and have wanted to go back since. We’ll probably try to check out one of the tours for sure! And my mom is coming with and will love the Magnificent Mile.
We love burgers, so if you can recommend a good burger joint, that would be ideal ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks everyone! You guys rock. I had Ted Drewes on my original list but lost that in a job shuffle, so I’m glad it was mentioned again! We’re staying at an AirBNB for the first time, which makes me nervous but frees up lots of extra spending money!

We are staying 2 blocks from Forest Park. The zoo and Grants Farm are already on our list. I’ll add Pappy’s to our list of food! I haven’t heard of that one yet.

That’s crazytalk Moneypenny! My sister (given up for adoption by my mom, found us about 10 years ago) was raised in a Puerto Rican family but has always loved Mexican food and she insists there’s great Mexican food in Milwaukee. Personally, I hate all of it but that’s just me ๐Ÿ˜›

I wouldn’t have cared if someone wore white to my wedding (actually I think someone did? but I can’t remember).

Oh Olive Garden, the ruiner of all good relationships. But those breadsticks though. If they are hot and have lots of the garlicky deliciousness on top, I can eat like 40.

But yeah, LW – Olive Garden isn’t the problem.

When I stopped looking last night, this thread was 30 pages. Now its 39. This is out of control. And @Firestar it didn’t go unnoticed that you tried to ruin my life by telling me that kittens can’t be president.

I think the degrees we don’t use are just that much more special. That means we learned for the sake of learning, not for some big fancy paycheck. I don’t use mine either.

*Raised hand* I was on Honor Roll. And Dean’s List all through college. And I have a Master’s Degree in criminal behavior. And I got a full ride scholarship to an uppity private college. And… I’ve run out of things to brag about. Except my mighty gag reflex.

Oh AP, its delicious. I like cinnamon rolls but they tend to make my teeth want to fall out, so the orange rolls are my compromise.
