Happy Friday! My parents arrived in Brooklyn last night to meet Joanie and visit us for a few days. My best friend is also in town with his boyfriend to see Broadway shows and meet Joanie and visit us, too, so it will be a packed weekend. What are you up to?

We have absolutely nothing planned, and we’re keeping it that way. I feel like I’ve been super busy for the last 100 weekends, so we turned down all plans and we’re going to live like hermits (after my morning hike with the pup tomorrow). Stay in our PJs all day, order all of our food in, stream netflix all day long!

othy, that sounds like a great weekend! I love do-nothing days. I’m just bummed that Netflix removed Battlestar Galactica.
I’m going on a road trip with my new guy to Louisiana this weekend. It’s kind of a random mini-trip, but I’ll get to visit a friend of mine who interned in my group a few years ago. My friend and his wife are cooking us dinner tomorrow, and we will all go boating on Sunday. I’m really looking forward to sitting in the car for several hours with my new guy, and I’m not driving (which is great because I hate driving). Here’s to hoping Cajun food isn’t too spicy for me!

Happy Friday! I’m at a pool drinking iced tea spiked with rum. I may have had a heavy hand with the rum… This is going to be an interesting night.

And tomorrow I get to catch up with one of my closest friends from undergrad! She just took the bar and has been a hermit for the last few months, so I’m thinking this’ll be a long call.

We have a busy weekend. Last night we stayed in and I made taco pizzas which are so yummy. Today some friends are coming up to go to the Salem Jazz and Sould Festival. And tomorrow we have my father-in-law’s birthday celebration. I’m already exhausted.

Hi all! Sounds like everyone is doing well. 🙂 Life update: I’ve been MIA due to tons going on recently, including the wedding in 6 days (OMG), prepping for a new job, and unfortunately dealing with some significant health issues (boo). I really can’t believe how fast this summer has flown by. Things are going really, really well, just LOTS going on. Hoping once life calms down I’ll be able to spend some more time on DW again!
