Happy weekend, everyone! What are y’all up to? We took Jackson to his school’s Valentine’s Dance last night, which was kind of hell on earth, and then came home, put the kids to bed, and watched some Opening Ceremonies and Letterman interview Clooney for his (Letterman’s) new Netflix show. Today I am hosting a community Buy Nothing meet-up in the space that our tenants just moved out of (and our new tenants don’t move into for a couple weeks). I wrote a little about Buy Nothing here, and I like this write-up about it, too. It’s a great concept and it’s been a wonderful way to stay organized, keep stuff out of landfills, and build community. I recommend joining — or starting! — one in your neighborhood.
Tonight Drew and I have a double-date with some friends coming in from the Far Rockaways for the evening. And I don’t know yet what Sunday holds, but hopefully it includes a nap, maybe making some beef stew in the Instant Pot (you guys are helping me feel a little less intimidated by mine), and maybe a new book (or a new-to-me old book if I find one at the Buy Nothing meet-up!).
Have a great weekend!

That picture is everything! What a great way to start my Saturday. Thank you for sharing.
My favorite friend and her husband are moving away in a few weeks so we’re going to hang out and day drink today. Can’t wait! Tomorrow will be grocery shopping, Pilates, and work. Not a bad weekend, minus the work thing.

AWWWWWWW!! Love the picture =) We are about an hour out of our first play with a 4yo – Paw Patrol Live. Then we’re going to tell her she’s going to be a big sister. Tomorrow is grandma’s birthday and we’re telling the rest of the family. Looking forward to a fun weekend with family after a miserable week at work.
