Weekend Open Thread

Happy weekend! What are you all up to? We’ve got Joanie’s class pet – a guinea pig named Coco – at our house for the weekend (you can read my dramatic history with class pets in my insta stories to better understand why I’m feeling a little anxious and why I broke my drinking hiatus with a Bourbon and Ginger), and today is the kids’ back-to-school carnival all day (bounce houses! games! face painting [by their dad, the face-painting extraordinare])! Not sure what the rest of the weekend will bring, but the weather is supposed to be perfect so hopefully we’ll be outside a lot.
