“Wendy’s Weekly Picks,” is a feature in which I highlight stuff I like or recommend in the worlds of fashion, gift ideas, home decor, makeup, websites, entertainment, and recipes. Of course, much of the stuff I link to will be affiliate products, which means I’ll receive a commission on any click-throughs or purchases you make through the affiliate links. As always, I appreciate your support! Here are my favorite finds this week:
This cute bag is marked way down over at Urban Outfitters and I think it’d make the perfect 2-bottle wine tote (complete with pockets for your corkscrew).
These pants are on sale for only $16 (with code HAPPY) and they look so cozy and comfy that I’m thinking they could double as going-out pants and loungewear.
I love these earrings – so simple and pretty.
Season 4 of Transparent is now available. We’ve only watched two episodes so far because the Yankees suddenly started playing really well and now that’s all that’s on our TV at the moment.
I love this hanging wall vase — super unique and cool looking.
I was asked on Instagram recently about the bunk beds in our kids’ bedroom. We got them over the summer when we determined Joanie was ready for a “big girl” bed, and I recommend them for anyone looking for space-saving sleeping options. They’re “low” bunks — good for rooms that don’t have especially high ceilings — meaning they’re a few inches shorter than traditional bunk beds (with a little less space between the bunks, so you’ll want a mattress — at least for the lower bunk — that is not more than six inches thick. This is the one we got and it works perfectly), A couple of features I love about these bunk beds: the large storage drawers below the bottom bunk, where we store costumes for dress-up as well as a lot of books and puzzles; the ability to separate the bunks into two individual beds, which will be super handy when the kids decide they’re ready for their own rooms. It’s not a bad price point, either (especially at more $300 off, which it currently is).

For anyone looking for an awesome toddler/young kid holiday gift – I just ordered this for my son (its been on his Amazon wish list for well over a year)… it never drops below $100 on Amazon but it’s about $65 on Jet (and Amazon because they do that) and using code Tasty15 will bring it down even further. Not sure if you have any affiliation with Jet, Wendy 🙂 https://jet.com/product/KidKraft-Everyday-Heroes-Play-Set/2aa5ddaf38354a1698ac9d313c923135
