I concur. I want to date someone who I think is super funny like that. I think sense of humor is more important to me now than other things. Well, being single / not engaged to someone else is also important to me. When you require *all* these things though, it makes dating almost impossible.
Mad props for the “Reading Rainbow” song!! And I did read the book! Most of it, anyway…I got distracted reading “high literature” for my Praxis test. I have like four half-read books on my dresser right now. It’s bad, guys. Real bad.
I KNOW! I loved Reading Rainbow. Is it still on anymore? I’m off to youtube to find an old episode. Sigh. I wish there was a grown up book version of it.
Everyone else in my grade school classes always disliked RR, but they were my FAVORITE days! And usually our librarian would read us one of the books he talked about. OMG when they read aloud to us…those were the BEST DAYS EVER!!!
So right now I’m watching the Reading Rainbow episode on Feelings. Its amazing. I think we all need a reminder once in a while how our feelings are valid and that we need them to learn how to handle difficult situations and the emotions we feel during them.
He looked SO.STRESSED.OUT. when Drew was talking about being stressed out and not talking to anyone for the month. It was like he was thinking “Don’t worry Dad, we’re a team. It’s gonna be hard, but we’ll hunker down!”
