I might be the minority here, but IMHO everyone is overthinking this.
It’s probable that Veritek is right now replacing her “awesome date” feelings for “I’m worried” feelings. Worried about the fact that he has plans for the next 4-5 week, so she’s may not be as excited and happy about her last date.
Why worry so much about what he/she says? If you want to see him sooner, then tell him.

For me, it’s not a code for anything else, more than watching tv on the couch all snuggled up. We’re watching some shows together, so, sometimes we decide on a “netflix date” that means we’ll watch an episode or two over tea or something.

I had a nice date on saturday. It was our first anniversary yesterday for my boyfriend and me. On saturday we had a five-course italian candlelit dinner and yesterday, on our actual anniversary, we hung out watching netflix, then we went for gelato and later we watched some more netflix. I loved the way we celebrated. It was an amazing year, hopefully the first celebrations of many.

@hfantods Is this the same guy that was causing you to rethink your plan to drive to Ottawa? Because that is a very dumb thing to say, so maybe rethink again.

6-7 months is not so much of a red flag. Most long term relationships are over long time before they are officially over. Maybe he is just starting to date after the break up, which sounds fine.
