Hmm, well I guess husband will just have to lose his finger.

So cold here too. I am glad school wasn’t cancelled at least. Son is semi year round so gets two weeks for spring break, when he goes to see him mom. They have already lost three days, which she got snippy with me about for telling her (since I knew son hadn’t told her even though we asked him to). Apparently I caused the lost days lol. Said she will call the school. Curious what she thinks that will accomplish (sure you can have an extra week) not to mention she isn’t even on the list to speak to the school regarding son. Face Palm! But for both of their sake do hope he doesn’t lose any more days with mom.

Luckily husband can work from home but he is generally limited to a day a week, due to how government works, but they have been pretty liberal, and went as far as requiring any who can to work from home one day last week, due to the awful weather.

I will say that I enjoy him being home but he sure messes up my routine just since I am used to being louder in cleaning and such since he isn’t home.

Trying to schedule surgery and you really think it would be easier to get someone to take 10k from us. Call this person, oh we don’t require advance payment but the dr says I must pay in advance. Finding it difficult to believe this is the first time someone has scheduled a surgery but sure feels like it. Hope that gets figured out today.

Thanks! I am looking online now. My mud room is becoming a puddle room.

We keep our thermostat at 62 and occasionally turn it up a bit when needed. We do have a space heater type thing in our bedroom which works amazingly. Son is in the attic so if anything he gets too hot up there.

@copa school was cancelled just due to the risk of exposure. Crazy.

Oh the man bouquet is really clever.

I am so pent up with all this snow and not getting out. Thinking I am about to do some damage at Target to rebel. haha

Going to grab this mat for our mud room.

I am tired of my house having puddles everywhere. If someone could advise how to get a teenager to actually do what you ask (take shoes off in the mud room) I would love to hear it.

Also hoping I might find a good absorbent type of rug I can put in there too. I saw one somewhere not that long ago meant just for it but can’t for the life of me remember where, plus I am only going to Target since it is snowing again soon so I’ll just look there.

The last time I went out for Valentines Day I got food poisoning from lunch earlier and projectile vomited all over the bathroom, barely even making it in there, so ya, no more of that. Pretty sure I severely traumatized the women all dressed up in the bathroom. My BF at the time got it too by the time we got home. The Uber driver thought I was drunk and threatened to not drive us, good times.

Ugh i am so annoyed with my husbands pool league right now. He just received a text that they have a tournament this weekend. They take up the entire day, for three days (well Friday night). I don’t even understand how this isn’t planned in advance, what would they do if too many people couldn’t make it, they depend on those people to win. So stupid. And there go our weekend plans. Plus, they are saying up to 5″ this weekend on top of the roads currently being hell and I don’t want him driving in that at all! Grrr. Why is day drinking so frowned upon, let alone day drinking alone? Is it alone if the dogs are home? As grandma says, it’s 5p.m. somewhere!

I saw the ring recently and thought it was interesting. I have been using my Fitbit for about the same amount of time 4 years or more. I bought it initially as a user friendly HR monitor due to my issues. Now that the heart rate is more calm (although really not today as I am in misery) I wear my Apple watch more as it does more but is not nearly as accurate on HR. My cardiologist tested my Fitbit against his equipment and said it was just about spot on.

I kind of hate a big Valentine’s with the crowds so I usually cook something at home and at the very least get a card and a bottle of wine. Last year I bought my husband a Tumi wallet as his was at the end of it’s life span. I don’t expect anything really, especially something fancy but of course appreciate and enjoy getting a gift. Last year husband was flying out to move me out the day after V day and forgot to get me a card or anything. I wasn’t upset but ribbed him a bit about it so he knows just receiving a card is something I want. Actually, for all holidays I am totally fine without a gift but really just want a card. I’d rather someone wrote something nice above an object. I also have the rest of my stuff being shipped to arrive on Valentine’s day so I think my gift is finally having the rest of my stuff, which actually is exactly what I wanted! I am 100% anti paying for storage units when not necessary but where we would end up was so in the air we were waiting to move things just to pay to move them a month later. Now that we know we will be here for at least another year and a half I finally am getting it. Luckily the storage place was insanely cheap but it has been pure torture to be spending money on that. So wasteful. Counting the days though! Can’t wait to fully decorate this house and have the rest of my clothes. I feel like I have been living in a frat house haha.

Our first anniversary is a month later so that is when we will do something. I think we are going to go get a couples massage and go somewhere nice for lunch or dinner, assuming son is in town (it is his spring break). If he is at moms we may plan an overnight. I do want to get him something for that and am starting to think of something good.
