thanks Pamplemousse! I’m staying at Zoetry in Riviera Maya with my travel agent friend and I think she knows some of the tricks and tips but she hadn’t mentioned that! And I don’t get bored if the food is good. Honestly if I find something I like I’ll keep going back for it lol

@lianne yeah I know. I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. I’m trying to figure that out. And yes we had to reschedule twice and then he cancelled yesterday because he ended up not getting the day off. He got called in to work. But that’s neither here nor there, because he’s not available in a way that I need or deserve.

I asked all my friends for book recommendations that I’ve been loading up on my nook and I have a stack of people and real simple magazines I’ve not had a chance to read yet (free subscriptions = backlog of reading material).

But no, not going to count on anything. I’ll probably reactivate dating profiles after I get back from Mexico.

And lol at condoms. I wasn’t planning on having THAT MUCH fun in Mexico, but I did hear a rumor that redheads get lots of attention in Mexico lol.
@Ale thanks! I’m hoping not to overeat because I’ve been doing really well on my weight watchers and crossfit and I don’t want to ruin all my progress! But I do want to enjoy some food and drinks and not stress too much about it 🙂

@Ange the last time I had wine in a hot tub I got drunk SO FAST and got SO SICK. Never again lol. Nothing but water in the hot tub!
@Abbytoo that’s very sweet of you. Unfortunately the date did not happen. I texted to confirm yesterday afternoon and he said he got called in to work. So, I’m….done. At this point he just can’t date. And it’s too frustrating. 2 dates in almost 6 weeks of “talking” is just not enough. I told him I need more than one or two texts every other day and never seeing each other. He said he just couldn’t be there for me right now but he will “drop a line when this project is winding down” to let me know when he’s available again and that seems fine. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed but it is what it is.Right now I’m focusing on my vacation next week. I’ve worked till past 10 every night this week (I went ahead and stayed last night since I didn’t have a date and got a bunch of work done) and seeing my dad so sick this weekend and on oxygen, and then getting the bill for my new furnace……I really need to be sitting on a beach with tequila and all the books I’ve been wanting to read.
I’ve never traveled to mexico or stayed in an all inclusive resort, so I’ll take any travel tips or tricks if you have them 🙂
A hot tub party sounds fabulous right now. I’d be down for that.
@kare that does seem like a shitty thing for him to say in front of you. Especially since it seem like you’ve totally got yourself together. Glad you let him know how you felt!
