@kmentothat sadly no update, or date for that matter.
My flight got in super late Monday night from ATL (I didn’t get to bed until 2 am and had to be at work at 8) so I was exhausted Tuesday and he was feeling sick so we cancelled. Then we tried to reschedule for last night (and without going into a lot of details because jimmyjam will accuse me of releasing his identity (gasp!)) – we had to cancel last night because of his work. There’s a big event coming up and he got stuck with clients and so we cancelled again. Nothing rescheduled yet because this big event starts over the weekend so we are playing it by ear until he knows his work schedule a little better and knows he won’t have to cancel on me.
So I drank a glass of wine and painted my nails last night after a deep tissue massage. Not a bad night all in all.

oh, and Mucha that’s exciting news! I hope it all works out great for you!
@ktfran I say take the tv. If he were buying you a new one specifically as a gift, I think that would be too much. However, if he’s benefiting from the hand-me-down tv being at your place, just accept it as a nice gesture and enjoy it.

I have my second date tonight. I’m hoping to take a quick power nap after work. I flew back home last night and landed at midnight so I didn’t make it to bed until 2 and was at work by 8 – so I’m tired! The plan is for sushi or a place with a patio since the weather is so nice. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
Date last night was a success! Date #2 is on deck for next Tuesday night! Margaritas were consumed, fun was had, good conversation, and a pretty rad goodnight kiss.
And that’s all I have to say about that 🙂 Happy St. Patrick’s everyone!

Welp. Date got cancelled. So i’m back to having nothing to contribute. And Abbytoo, that’s creepy. They have airbnb for that

@shake I dated a bad kisser for a hot minutes last year and it didn’t improve. It was bad. I’m sorry you’ve experienced this too.
@kare glad you’re still having the fun sexy sex! I’ll live vicariously through you! I also try not to give out my phone number until at least right before the first date or after because that’s how you get unsolicited dick picks and such. Not giving out the number has cut back on this big time!@stone I had a guy buy me a coat one time. It seemed weird at the time but he knew I needed a heavier coat and that I was too cheap to buy one, so he just bought one for me. It was kinda sweet. I ended up giving it to a co worker when we broke up, but it was a nice gesture. Physicist seems like a very nice guy 🙂

As for me, I bought a new sundress for the date tomorrow night. It’s supposed to he 80 and sunny and I’ve been eyeballing this dress for a while so I just grabbed it with my supplemental paycheck yesterday because I’d want it if I had a date or not. Hoping things go well but if not, I have a cute new dress.
@abbytoo Well, I’m sorry! I have a date Tuesday night after my semi break. I’m just choosing not to share anything more about it because apparently I overshare. But I’m looking forward to it! And I got my tax return back so I’m gonna go get a pretty manicure this weekend 🙂

I will say my 30s, all 18 months of it, have been a tiny bit crazier than my 20s. But I was a late bloomer y’all. I say have fun at whatever age you want to!
