All Eyes on Minnesota

Thank you to longtime DW community member, Bloody Mediocrity, for his note in the forums from Minnesota. Photo above is taken from a small protest I attended outside Senator Schumer’s house where activists have beeb gathering daily to demand the senate minority leader to whip the dems to all vote no on additional ICE funding (the vote come later in the week). Of course, in Brooklyn and around the country, our hearts are with those in Minnesota, which is ground zero at the moment, in our fight against fascism, our fight to save our democracy.

We knew when Trump was declared the winner in 2024 that it would be bad, and it is. Friends, it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Stay strong. And if you have Republican reps, CALL THEM! Demand they put an end to this. It would only take a few with spines o stand up and say “enough is enough!”
