I’m conflicted about tipping my dog walker–we use a service and don’t always have the same person walking our doggo. But I don’t want to *not* tip
Yeah, this Secrets is on the west coast, in Cabo. We usually stay at another place in Cabo but the other guests were starting to get weird. This one is a lot bigger than the Capri but very chill. The beach area actually looks a lot like Cape Cod. Secrets is a safe bet, it doesn’t disappoint.
Oh, the other place has prostitutes too! Like, ok, I guess if you want to bring a girl in and be discreet, but there should not be a lady in a cocktail dress at the pool bar. So weird.
You mean, you don’t wear heels and a cocktail dress to the pool bar? Have I been doing life entirely wrong?
The horror! I won’t go to the beach without my mascara on and lots of baby oil. It’s a shame when I forget the waterproof stuff.
You can never go wrong with body shimmer. Maybe next trip, I’ll bring my crystal studded swimsuit.

This is almost exactly what I do (I usually tip 25% at each visit, and double that to 50% for my visit around the holidays; I know some people say tip what you usually spend on a full service, but that doesn’t seem appropriate to me. My cuts are around $80 and I think an $80 tip would be excessive for someone I see four times a year.).
That’s what I’ve historically done too. I actually thought that was the norm until kate linked the forbes article. I’m upping the holiday tips this year based on that, but I’m not going the price of the full service quite yet.
It sucks, my hairstylist keeps getting promoted… which is great for her but sucks for my pocketbook. Since I’ve start seeing her about 4 years ago, prices have gone up a total of $25. And I see her every six weeks. Ugh.
