Kate, not tryna diss you or anything. I assure you with 100% accuracy that this is a 100% true nostalgic story. If I did make it up I would’ve asked something like “what can I do to improve this story I wrote?” etc. Also, you think bullying isn’t an important thing to discuss in school, just cause I’m in 11th grade?

Lol, you already said it’s not 100% true. I think it’s 100% fiction.

And no, I don’t think 17, 18 y/o kids are being asked to write on this topic and read aloud to the class.

For the last time, it is true. This was a real event that happened in 3rd grade. Just cause it’s an old story doesn’t mean I won’t remember it. Also, what kind of bell prompts (topics given by the teacher to write about when the bell rings) did YOU have in 11th grade if you think this wouldn’t be one.

Like, an essay about a book we read in English, or something about international relations, or fruit fly genetics, or a story written in French. Something age-appropriate.

Also, when the bell rang we went to our next class, or home. But maybe Massachusetts was different?

What pidgin English? Where, in your story?

That’s not why it sounds fake. It sounds fake because it’s fake. Maybe you really did smash a ball in a kid’s face, but it’s your overinflated ego and fake details that really hit it home.

What you did is as bad as what those bad bullies did.

If the only example of standing up to a bully you have is from 8 years ago, maybe you should revisit your knight fantasies.

Heh brilliant one. Your words “TRUE STORY. I’m sorry if it sounds exaggerated (it kinda is)“. So you said it was kind of exaggerated. Use brain then type.

I meant the tardy bell, which rings 5 minutes after the end of class bell from last period to mark tardiness to your next class. Also, bell prompts can be about anything you want. We mostly get questions about either events in our lives or our opinions on certain topics.
