I did but didn’t get a really good answer, he’s been working so much lately I’ve barely got to actually talk to him. Luckily the project ends next week. I actually feel bad for his whole team, they are all working 13 plus hour days. Baking cookies for them currently. Ok well baking cookies for them because I want some but don’t want the temptation in my house and they will be pleased too. Haha

Plus trying to get a sentimental gift not a use for a while and it’s gone gift. I think I’m just too tired to even think about it clearly. My dog is killin me. He is waking me up every hour until 4am begging to go potty. Took his water away earlier last evening. He has to stop! Also hoping he’s ok, seems fine but odd for the constant wake ups. Watching him in case there’s a reason beyond driving me nuts that he’s wanting to go out so much.

I do not miss the bag schlepping or just not having what you want or need. Never again.

Guys I’ve had trouble sleeping on and off for two weeks and on top of it and trying to find a gift for husband. I think my brain is about to break.

Nah, most of my passwords are my exes and my anniversary…and I am talking college ex. I wouldn’t remember it otherwise as I just kept using it for so long….also it was back in the day when changing things like your PIN required a lot more work than logging into an account and typing it in, so I was not inclined. Actually my passwords are our initials and date.

I know my husband remembers when we had sex first but I sure don’t. He remembers details in ways I have never seen anyone be capable of before, like dang Rain Man. Can bite me in the butt sometimes. I do remember that I had been hinting for MONTHS and finally just put his hand on my boob. hahahaha That did it.

I was just typing that. I could’ve saved some time in my dating life.

Husband knows our date because it was two days after he retired from the Air Force so the date kind of sticks. He can never remember what year though, ha. I for sure always remember our wedding anniversary because it’s the same as my ex and I (not wedding but dating) anniversary. Not intentional but it worked that way and in the end decided not to make my own life more difficult choosing another day just to avoid that date. I have zero excuse for ever forgetting though. Our 1 year is next Sat the 16th!
Husband and I didn’t go on a date really until we were already a couple, the whole thing worked rather backwards, so I don’t think I could ever figure out a date. The date he mentions is just the date we met but he was actually still married and I just met him, wasn’t trying to date him by any stretch. Took years before we actually got to dating, once he was divorced (not finalized yet) and I wouldn’t move in with him until it was finalized and then once we were engaged. I really made that poor man work for it in retrospect haha.

@Copa I remember I went to a wedding of a couple who met online, before it was even kind of considered ok in any which way, and I just remember it being soooooo awkward. Partially awkward because it was in a trailer like on the side of the road,(WTF) but also because everyone was talking about how they met and it was even pre AOL chat room days. I don’t even really know how that worked back then.
My ex and I met on AOL in a chat room, a bit before that was ok too…as did our best couple friend. We would just tell people we met at a bookstore since that is where we met in front of on our first date…so technically….

Cover letters still super important. A must. I see some younger tech companies not care as much but I’d say that’s more the exception and better to always include one. I am actually rewriting mine today. I have a general one I keep then alter it per job posting. Easier that way.

Congrats on the progress with the wedding.

Interesting update regarding my inability to get a dang RX filled. Pharmacist said this doctors office is the absolute worst about refills, so it’s not just me. That doesn’t help but make me feel better since it isn’t just me. I felt like I was being treated as a drug seeker….for trying to fill a script I am allowed to monthly, but only do every 3 months (face palm). I had an appointment with him but then the Midwest decided to be -45 so it was cancelled (as was the whole state) so I now have it this Friday. I am going to address it then. Still changing doctors but at least it’ll be brought up and I will get my referral I need for PT (just ongoing issues with my prior broken femur that are never going to end when you break the biggest bone in your body).

Oh, I made zoodles for the first time last night with my Kitchen Aid mixer attachment I was given for xmas two ago. Now it is all I want to eat of course. Also fun!

Arg I want my Fabfitfun box to ship. They used to give dates now it just says beginning of March. Gimme.

I saw there’s a diffuser which is great because I was about to buy a second one.

I keep seeing the celeb posted pics of their boxes and am trying not to look too close so I ruin the surprise.

I know the feeling. Last weekend we had to spend $1000 we didn’t intend to. Fun. ??‍♀️
