We are starting no-masks on June first as well (for those that show proof to HR/Safety). There will be a list to supervisors of individuals not required to wear a mask as part of their PPE. everyone else must still wear a mask. So, we’re not denying you a job, just a different set of PPE is required.
ugh, what is this “sheep” shit anyway. I’ve seen it on too many people’s social media, or heard people retort “oh you’re a sheep.”
@ktfran and @copa: traffic has been a steadily increasing nightmare. I would definitely think about the Divvy membership. Also, it’s been near-impossible to get a ride-share. COVID/Carjacking concerns. Even though I’m a reverse commute, driving home is white-knuckle for me. You have a mix of people going the speed limit in the left lanes (ultimate sin!) along with a few people thinking it’s a Nascar race and weaving in an out.
got my mom the john frieda/inifiniti pro rotating brush for her birthday. she has very fine shoulder length gray hair. Seems to be good so far! her hair WILL NOT keep a curl, but this at least gives it a “blow out” look

I’m supposed to go to a wedding in May. Its a second marriage and I’m just not super excited about it. I’m vaccinated, but I know these people, while socially liberal, are a bit woowoo on vaccines. Anyway, it WAS supposed to be a super simple taco truck fest. Now, it’s a full on wedding. With a registry full of stuff for their second home (a RENTAL PROPERTY). ANdD the wedding website is all about their lives as entrepreneurs with links to their businesses. She’s just.. it’s a real interesting journey from the super chill art grad I knew. The only reason I’m considering still going (and i’m gonna have to stay overnight… leave the kids with Radiostar and use up one of my precious ‘alone cards’) is a dear friend is planning to go and I would love to spend time with her.

My arm is really sore (and that’s extended up to my neck). Otherwise, the slight tiredness I feel could be the vaccine.. or it could be that I have a nearly 4 month old and a 2.5 year old..
Hooray for all the good news! I get my second Moderna tonight at 4, Radiostar gets his tomorrow, and my brother gets his Wednesday! Hiphiphooooraaayyy
Had a friend visiting this weekend and guys… its like I don’t know how to socialize anymore.
Had my derm appointment yesterday and got my ‘good’ Vitamin C and Retrinal!!!! so happy to be back on the sauce post-partum
