@Veritek that to me is awful as welL! My brother and is wife LOVE Disney (they’ve already taken their two kids at the ripe old ages of 5&6 – they actually didn’t have a very good time it was so overwhelming for them!).

I have never been and never wanted to go.

I have been to Universal (w/Husband and two kids plus friend – but they were older – teenagers at least). I loved Universal. But we went at the very end of May/1st of June so just before peak season. Disney during peak season…you have my sympathies!

    That’s a beautiful coat!

I haven’t heard many good things about stitch fix. I love the idea but never signed up as people I know who did had terrible experiences. Oh well.

Congrats@Copa! Hope the food reintroduction goes well.

I love weight training (I only workout at home) and I really don’t like cardio that much but I make myself do HIIT at least once a week. I’ve thought about crossfit but…I’m not that into working out LOL 🙂

What is TrunK? Sounds similar to that other clothing delivery company…I can’t think of their name! I’ve never tried one. The coat sounds lovely!

Now I know which duct tape to use (or maybe not use) in case I need to bind someone…haha!

My husband and brother have the same name so my family reverted to calling my husband by his last name. It’s an easy short last name so it worked out but was kind of strange in the beginning!

However, none of the guys I ever dated had the same name (first, middle or last).

Stay warm everyone! Though it’s sunny here with a high of 48 – downright warm compared to some of you guys!

That sounds interesting @BGM! Sounds like a fun job with something different everyday. My job is…mostly the same everyday so a little boring (or a lot depending on the day 🙂

oh and @copa – I’m sorry whole30 isn’t helping with your symptoms. Too much fat (even healthy fats) does the same thing for me! I feel your pain.

@thehizzy, this is the second time I’m trying Whole30 as the first time I failed. I failed because I kept having flare up of my Crohns symptoms which for me is very similar to IBS. Because of Crohns (specifically for me not necessarily everyone who has it – I went undiagnosed for years which caused scar tissue) I have to watch fiber intake and raw veggies/fruit can seriously upset my stomach. I can handle them in small doses and now that it is under more control I can handle a bit more and even salad as a meal as long as it has protein. And I eat a lot of potatoes for starch still. Though I’m not lactose intolerant to much diary can also upset my stomach. A little cheese on top of spaghetti fine, pizza not so much.

My main goal was to get off the sugar train and not eat out as much nor eat as much processed foods. Mainly retraining my habits (I love lattes). Taste buds regenerate every 7-10 days so hopefully that will help with the sugar. I think the hardest will be creating new healthy habits.

That’s awesome! I’m better at prepping dinners than I am lunches but I’ve always been bad at lunches. I get bored easily with food repetition.

Hope the dogs go fast! One of my dogs always takes his time no matter the weather. At least I have a small yard so he can go out by himself now but it was maddening when we moved and were in an apartment at first. He’s got to do the circles, sniff the entire space, do more circles, sniff more, repeat, repeat, repeat!

I wish I was closer to 30 days! I gave myself 2 weeks (that was easier to convince myself to do it) in the beginning. But now I’m thinking I might make 30 days. It’s all in the prep…though it’s exhausting to prep or at least plan 3 meals a day/7 days a week.

I’m wearing the same kind of thing today @MG!

    Love that picture @thehizzy!

And it’s great your in a good place with him @copa!

I’m starting week 2 of whole30. So far so good…except for some fatigue. Can’t tell if that is the diet or the fact that I’m close to my period. Maybe both. Hopefully it’ll clear up soon. It’s hard to stay motivated to workout.

I found a link at amazon:

    https://www.amazon.com/My-Doggy-Place-Absorbent-Microfiber/dp/B01BKTAW48/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1548456896&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=pet+door+mats&psc=1

They come in different sizes too. I need a bigger one myself!

Weather has been up and down here. Tuesday I worked from home and schools were cancelled for blizzard like conditions. Today is sunny and warmer but not that warm and maybe more snow on Monday.

@Ver – your ring is gorgeous!

We don’t normally do anything for Valentines as most restaurants charge outrageous rates for dinners, plus I hate crowds. One year my husband brought home a ice cream cake for v day (which I loved). And last year (I think – might have been the year before) he took me out as a surprise thing but mostly do not like to celebrate V day.

We keep our house on 64 during the day when no one but the dogs are home and and then 67 when we are home (unless it’s blizzard like and so cold outside that even that is to cold we turn it up to 69).

    @JD
    – we purchased a mat from a pet store that really helps when our dogs are tracking in from the snow or rain. Not sure if it would help where you want it but might look into those!
