Maybe the medications for depression aren’t working because it’s setting off behaviors that have to do with mania. That’s why additional professional opinions might be helpful.
February 18, 2015 at 10:11 am #336229It’s good that your family understands your extreme reactions, but you still have to change your behavior. It’s hard to put up with the lashing out even if you feel that it’s part of your illness and they know it. It’s going to continue to affect your jobs and relationships. Getting help does show strength.
February 18, 2015 at 10:02 am #336222What makes you disagree? Again, genuine question. I work in primarily with people who have mental health diagnoses and I encounter a lot of different diagnoses and ways that it looks for different people. Has anyone talked to you about the different types of depression and bipolar? Your therapist might be able to give you some resources. These are really big names for a really diverse set of symptoms that look different for every person.
I’ve seen all kinds of both of those diagnoses and feel comfortable saying that I understand a lot of what goes on in mental health. I worked primarily with people with psychotic disorders for 2 years. I know what some people can’t help and things that they would like to change and feel powerless to do so at times. But you can still try and practice and put in the work to relate better to others in a more positive way.
February 17, 2015 at 8:07 pm #335985Oh wait, manager’s in his 20s, I would now like to nominate the actor who plays Jon Snow for the role.
February 17, 2015 at 8:04 pm #335983I’ve always had a soft spot for Mark Sheppard who plays Crowley since I saw him in Leverage then Firefly then BSG now Supernatural and a sprinkling of other shows I caught. Misha would fit best as a Golden Corral manager with his dark hair and early 40s good looks.
February 17, 2015 at 7:56 pm #335981He is my absolute favorite on twitter! He is so funny it hurts sometimes. I was just listening to an old Nerdist podcast he did last year and it was amazing as well. Makes me want to hop a plane to a SupernaturalCon after I catch up – only in Season 8.
February 17, 2015 at 7:13 pm #335974Misha collins should probably play this boss since he’s amazing.
Not too many light-skinned actresses… I’d probably have to be played by Kerry Washington.
February 16, 2015 at 7:28 pm #335451Holy flying fuck guys, I leave the internet for 3 days and I miss all of this! This is why I stay connected at all times lol. But really though, I should do some more mindfulness activities where I don’t stare at a screen forever. I must’ve been somewhat linked since I’ve wanted a cinnamon roll all weekend for some reason. I’m intrigued by these orange rolls but I definitely have an eyebrow raised.
Dang Sarah, ditto what absolutely everyone has said already. I absolutely love a good fantasy myself. I’ve currently been crushing on the men of Supernatural. Amazing comedic timing in that show. I suppose my coworker too but flex space, I see him rarely. He’s hot and he knows it which makes it even more ridic for me, totally my self-involved fantasy type even though I’d hate him if that’s all I had.
My husband’s awesome and gives me so much more than these fantasies. Find someone who gives you that real feeling.
I also loved visiting the east coast the super short time I spent out there and would love to go back.
