Maybe we can cheer the thread up a little with fun plans for the weekend? Does anyone have any? I’m going to visit Tinder Teacher and hopefully have a nice time. (after I go to a family thanksgiving where I’m sure I’ll be asked how I can afford my house and told that I’m a spoiled only child – different story for a different day.)
TT wouldn’t let me cook for him last time so I’m bringing some homemade cinnamon rolls with me this time. Hopefully he likes them!
@missdre I never chimed in when you asked, but I’ve been bad about going on second dates when I’m not feeling it so I would have suggested you NOT go if you weren’t feeling it. What’s the point? So I’m glad you came to that conclusion. Good for trusting your gut!
@Kare that’s awesome! Your Halloween sounds pretty badass.
Halloween is my favorite holiday so I’m having a “Haunted Housewarming” this weekend (even though the house is nowhere near unpacked and decorated lol) There’s plenty of Halloween decorations up and I just want people to come eat and drink and see the new house!
I didn’t invite Tinder Teacher because a.) I don’t think I’m ready for him to meet that many of my friends and b.) I’m sure he’s not ready to meet that many of my friends lol. I’d be filled with anxiety and worried he was having a good time the whole night, so maybe he’ll get invited tot he next party. We’ll have our private party next weekend!
Well, we never actually went to the corn maze. So that argument was just lame and out of place. And apparently nothing I say is going to make you agree with me so that’s OK. You can think of me whatever you want to. I understand when he tells me that he has an all day long band competition and honestly driving three hours to get to see somebody for just a few more hours and then driving three more hours back home is exhausting. So I understand. And I get to see him next weekend so I’m just gonna look forward to that
