Hey you guys! My date was great!!! This guy is kind of awesome. We met at this hipster Mexican place, had 2 drinks, then got a couple of tacos. We left after a couple of hours, and then he asked what I wanted to do, and I suggested taking a walk. Which led us back to his place where he showed me his car (he restored an early 80’s Porsche which I thought was really cool), and then his apartment… and eventually one thing led to another, and let’s just say my dry spell is over. Ha. We both agreed that we’re very compatible sexually, which is awesome. And eventually I had to go, and he walked me back to my car. I get the feeling personality/humor wise, we’re pretty compatible, as it was easy to talk to him and he was really engaging in our conversation. Plus, he thinks I’m cute. And hot. So.
Now, he’s been super swamped this week since there is a huge huge convention in town and a few clients are around and demanding a lot of his time. (Also the reason he was delayed in getting back to me yesterday.) So, he was like, I’m going to be swamped the rest of the week until they leave (understandable), but maybe we could hang out after that. And he said he’d get in touch with me (I don’t remember exactly what he said but something like that). But I guess I’ll believe it when I see it- I’ve heard some variation on this numerous times! So that’s the thing- who knows if it’ll actually happen. But I’m focusing on the fact that it was a fun time, and not having too high of expectations.

I had a date last Saturday! It was the first time that I have been on a date where it was agreed from both sides that it was in fact a date, so you could say it was my first date.
It went well, although the ending was terribly awkward, which made me moan to my friends that I had ruined it. However, he texted me even before I got home again, so I guess it wasn’t that ruined! 😀
