@Hizzy- congrats on the 140 snatch! I’m stuck at 125 and dealing with back and hip issues so it might stay that way for a while lol.

    Also, that dude blows.

And I’d totally be the one that had the claustrophobic problem with the tied up arms and legs.

@TheHizzy – congrats! 140 😮 I have some mobility issues with snatching and it’s just not my lift, which is really hard for me to accept because I’m really strong and suck at cardio. So on my gym’s leaderboard, I’m always one of the top few women for strength, then usually way down toward the bottom for metcons. On days we work on snatches for strength, I’m toward the bottom for both and it cuts deep. Haha.

I’m going a little stir crazy at home today. Did some work to the best of my ability. Did some cleaning. Plan to do some cooking. My gym is open and I’m debating going even though we’re warned not to breathe deeply in this weather at the risk of damaging our lungs. Erm. I feeling cooped up when I want to be out doing things.

Think about it Copa. I was outside with the dog for 4 mins and had difficulty catching my breath when I came inside, like I had run.

Also bored stuck in this weather. Doing some laundry for husbands trip, made the kid pancakes this a.m. (and mini one for my dog), made loaded baked potato soup for lunch and made a bunch of random phone calls I have been neglecting (like returning my Toll transponder from CA).

I am also debating doing laundry, even though the layout of my building requires me to go outside to access the laundry room.

I’m so sorry it’s bitterly cold up there for you guys.

Stay inside and safe and warm. Keep going outside to a minimum.

Everyone down here is asking how my family is surviving. FMH, a desert rat, lost his shit when we were talking highs in the negatives. Blows his mind.

I’m headed into work tomorrow. Our cleaning lady is coming… she hasn’t canceled!!!! I’m having friends over this weekend so it’s perfect. Instead of taking the bus like we normally would, we’re going to Lyft… just because… it’s effing cold.

daycare was cancelled today and tomorrow. Luckily the gym was open and so was their daycare, so materialsbaby and I went there for two hours to hang out. Will do that again tomorrow. This reminds me a lot of ’96 when the state of minnesota shut down. Radiostar had to go into work because we HAD to keep running so things wouldn’t break at the plant.
anyway, shes down for a nap now and i’m trying to get a bunch of work done. Butter chicken is in the slow cooker and smells delicious.

so a bunch of my ex-boyfriends were all scorpios with birthdays within a week of each other. Radiostar is an Aries. I have broken my ‘type’

Grr husbands flight was just cancelled for tomorrow and looks like they aren’t even booking flights until Sat at the earliest, which are mostly full, and I am sure more full by the time i get through to rebook. Guess I am rescheduling movers, hotels, PTO, ughhhhh…. damn weather. Plan this for a year and it decides to be the worst in a generation now. I am going to go throw something at the snow I swear.

I once dated a guy with the same name as my dad. It was a kind of old fashioned name too but the association wears off pretty quickly.

Unlike you guys in the cold we’re dealing with a massive flood event where I am. I only live 2 minutes from my office and it was hairy just getting here, I’m about to bail and get to my safe place up on the hill.
