You might want to try the Levi’s wedgie fit too. I think the fit of the A&F Curve Love is pretty good, but it can be a bit too tight in the waist to get the fit I want in the hips. The short length does work on me and I am 5’3”. The Levi’s are cute and I can roll them a little for sneakers and they look great with a sandal with a heel, or an ankle boot.

I’ll look into those! And yeah, some of the jeans I’ve tried on over the past year or so, IDK how anyone sits down in them for long periods of time with the higher waist and the more rigid denim. I’m not someone who gets weird about sizing up as needed, but I’ve found in pants that sizing up leads to the wrong fit in other areas with a waist gap in the back. This used to be a bigger issue for me with work pants, not as much with denim, but I guess with jean styles changing it’s becoming more of an issue for me.

Back in the 90s there was no stretch at all. I used to wear the high-waisted Levi’s, I think 505’s, and damn did that waistband cut in. Anyway, the Levi’s wedgie fit has some stretch and I would say runs true to size. The A&F curve love mom jeans I have, I think run big. Both have 1% elastane. I just checked a stretchy target pair and it’s 2% spandex.

Just a head’s up that I’ve moved this thread from “chat” to “advice.”

So yesterday I swung by Sephora and picked up new mascara. I also grabbed KVD liquid gel contour (they had shade options in cool tones so I was thrilled) and a Rare Beauty cream blush. My makeup looked great when I left for the office this a.m. Guess we’ll see how they wear throughout the day. The downtown Sephora was not well stocked so I was happy to be able to grab the items I wanted in the shades I wanted to try.

Since there’s been some discussion on makeup… I finally bought and am using Ilia Skin Tint and I’m OBSESSED. I don’t like foundation, so prior, I was using Kiehl’s tinted BB cream. The Ilia skin tins is so much better. First, I went into Sephora and asked someone to help color match me. She seemed uninterested, so I took a sample and called it a day. I ended up taking a few pics in natural light, sending them to Ilia and they matched me. I’ve been using for a couple weeks now and I love it so wanted to give it a shout out.

I also bought a couple of the Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Sticks and I really like them too. I tried a Laura Mercier one (that I got for my Sephora b-day gift). I like the Bobbi Brown stick better.

    How’s the coverage on that?

It’s good. It really evens out my skin and looks completely natural, which is what I needed. I have a naturally red nose, unfortunately, and it helps curb that too.

Cool, it looks pretty in the ads but also sheer.

I like that you can get a small sample at Sephora to check it out first. Since I’ve never really used any kind of foundation or CC cream, I might not be the best judge. It def evens everything out though.

I bought Saie Slip Tint before my Mexico trip and really liked it. It has SPF 35 but I still put my regular sunscreen underneath. It felt very hydrating and has a dewy finish, which I like. I think it’ll be my summer staple on days I work remote/don’t need much coverage/don’t have to wear my mask too much (I was masked very often in Mexico and staying power under the mask was so-so).

I also often have a red nose and that’s my biggest gripe about wearing makeup and masks — the first place my makeup rubs off is my nose.

I always wear sunscreen under my skin tint stuff too, even if it has SPF. I prefer the extra protection.
