I walked into the store. Thought she was talking to another customer. I’m kind of surprised she was talkative to me. She was too short to reach for the air balloons floating in the building. I asked if she needed help. She seemed to be talkative. I was turned on by her talking to me. So I was just talking plainly to her. I’m not to flirty of a guy unless provoked. I wanted to ask her out. But seen many rings on her fingers. I’m a friendly guy. I’m kind of shy. Her rings on her hand made me think she was married and just being friendly.

The store clerk is a person doing their job. She is there to earn a paycheck, not flirt.

If you want to find women to date, you need to go on dating apps or to places where single women go to meet people for dating, in their free time. It’s not appropriate to ask a person out when she’s at her job, where she’s a captive audience and is obligated to be friendly to people. I know I probably sound like a total bitch to you, but this is how it is.

An exception to this might be if, say, you both worked at the mall and developed a friendly relationship where you’d each drop in and say hi to the other at work and started hanging out outside of work for drinks or whatever and things happened naturally and organically to where it would seem right to ask her on a date.

Kate is right. She was working. Don’t ask women out when they are being paid for their friendliness.

Also, don’t say you were turned on by having a conversation with someone. That’s an inside thought.
