I for some reason like Bobs Burgers. My husband hates it and I really couldn’t even tell you why I like it. The characters just crack me up. For the most part I am an A&E, Science Channel, Nat Geo person. I could watch Forensic Files all day, and I have! Give me a true crime binge any day, which seems like it will happen since we are basically snowed in today.

Ha that Star Wars episode was on last night and my husband was watching it, never really see him watch that show in general, and I was hating every minute of it.

My first trip to Florida involved monsoon rains and insane humidity, my foot being sliced open to the bone by a towel bar in the shower of the hotel when it fell off while I was showering (why a towel rack in the shower to begin with and it was in a place it would only get wet so that whole thing baffles anyway) and my finger nearly being sliced off and a concussion. For sure a bitter taste in my mouth on top of the other obvious Florida things. Also, for being in such a wealthy area in Miami, some of the absolute worst food I have ever eaten. Don’t even get me started on running to the mall to grab something and women walking around with a bra and unbuttoned shorts to show off their underwear. I really couldn’t believe the whole thing start to finish.

Husband and I have talked a lot about where to move. He would prefer somewhere warmer, although not CA since he doesn’t love OC for the people and cost of living (the only part I’d live in other than that is Nor Cal-even more expensive) and neither of us wish to live in the South or anywhere crazy humid or hot. There really isn’t a good answer as the ideal weather doesn’t really exist. We are only even deciding on Utah since my mom lives there now, there’s an Air Force base and cost of living is much more reasonable. Amusingly our list of places to live has started to include ridiculous things such as: has Postmates, Amazon Prime Now, Nordstrom. haha. I mean it is somewhat in jest but let me tell you how much I miss having hour or less delivery. The city I lived in was the test market for all those programs so I was rolling in the joy of easy access to everything. Also found out where my mom lives has Del Taco and In N Out so that pushed it over the edge. hahahah It looks like they get about the same amount of snow that we get here but most of the time the snow doesn’t hunker us in, and I don’t mind the occasional days it does.

Ya Florida is a special place. We were just talking about it since husband used to live there when he was stationed there. I had a business in Miami and I just cannot with that place. Plus the humidity. I don’t mind snow really but frankly the climate I want to live in doesn’t exist. CA was too hot for me as well. I get bitter as hell when it’s 90 on xmas day.

My dog that went inside was my husbands technically. She sees snow and nopes right out of there. My dog, and I was worried when we move here, doesn’t give 2 craps and will hang out in the snow for a long time. It is funny how different they take it.

They said we would get a light dusting and we have at least 6 inches on the ground and it is still falling. We are about to walk to the bodega to get some coffee so at least no one in our house is killed. School was cancelled today as well.

Ya, no way I’d let that over aggressive, foul talking nut near my kids.

Aww poor baby. My dog went poop in the house today and as annoyed as I was, I looked outside and thought, well ya, obviously. He was slipping and sliding just walking outside to pee. I don’t blame him. I tend to put a puppy pad down on really icky days as I know there is a higher chance of it happening since it’s so gross outside. The night before last it was -8 outside!

I was eating them a little until I read it was 70 calories per cookie. That ruined it for me.

I am sooooo tired of being sick. One day slightly better then back to feeling like crap. I’d go to the doctor at this point but the roads are hell right now and the only way there is up a steep hill I’ve not been able to get up before in bad weather, so no thanks. Luckily husband can telework today and tomorrow. We already had somewhat bad roads now freezing rain. Yuck.

Considering saying screw eating well today and ordering something yummy to be delivered. Comfort food much needed. Probably smarter to find a nice soup recipe for my Instant Pot, which I’ve been using non stop since I finally opened it and set it up.

Aldi sells what are basically Tagalongs for 95 cents year round FYI. They are pretty comparable. Husband always gets them.

You really should talk to your school counselor. There is help. Not reading that but your constant need for validation over your lies is concerning.
