catching up on all the news now that I’m back to the real world! KMEN sorry to hear about new dude, but glad it’s sorting itself out early rather than later. Also, loving the pictures from your trip!
Everyone else: Honeymoons are awesome. Even when you freeze your butt off in CurryVillage at night. Also awesome? Eloping. aka destination wedding for two
May 3, 2016 at 10:55 am #496961I’ve done rent the runway a few times and have been to the store. I rented a dress for an event a few months ago and there was a storm between the midwest and NYC, so EVERYONE’s dresses were delayed. All of us ended up in the store and i put my name down and came back three hours later for a fitting room. It was crazy, yo! i don’t think it’s usually that bad, especially if you make an appointment.
I used to buy dresses, wear them to sorority formals, wear the next year to a fraternity formal, then sell it. Worked out okay before the days of RTR.
@Portia, I sold my old wedding dress on preownedweddingdresses.com Easy!Speaking of selling stuff, has anyone had any luck selling old engagement rings and such? I tried CIRCA, but it wasn’t worth it. I am thinking of taking the stone out (ruby) and selling the set since it’s fairly popular and someone would probably rather have a diamond in it

I spent the weekend moving in with RadioStar. A trip to IKEA, speeding ticket, Two+days of unpacking= NO FIGHTS and lots of sex. And a bunch of crap thrown away! and lou malnatis and Heitz Cellars. yum. And now AP and BABYP can visit!

December 23, 2015 at 8:49 am #404615veritek, I bought this dress from Macy’s over Thanksgiving for cheap. I’m planning to wear it for NYE, but I love it because it’s lined and NOT SCRATCHY like most dresses that have sequins (plus it’s made in the US of A.
Anyway, I thought of you because I think it would go nicely with your hair.

So thanks for the dress research, V!November 11, 2015 at 5:00 pm #393925Glad you’re going for dual therapy today Veri! Running and counseling are the best! Time to pound it out on the pavement.
Putting in the work now, even though you may not see huge changes and results week to week, will benefit you so much. You’ll look back in a year or so and be amazed at the changes. If you aren’t already, keeping a journal for the ‘crazy feelings’ really helped me get it out of my head.
