@veritek, that really sucks about that guy, who plans to meet with someone else after a date? I would move on from him.
July 29, 2015 at 9:47 am #369588@veritek, it was awesome, 3 weeks is a long time to be away from each other. We will likely see each other tonight, then probably through the whole weekend. And thumbs up for work appropriate cleavage.
July 28, 2015 at 6:32 pm #369499@veritek, if you really want to put it out there that you would like him to kiss you. You should text him tonight, “Hey I think you should kiss me after our date tomorrow night.” I had woman I went on a date with text me that before our second or third date because I hadn’t picked up the signals on date one. I’ve also received other iterations of that text other times due to my lack of picking up signals and fears of being presumptuous. It takes a little of the nerves out for him, because he knows you want it and also steers the tone of everything to a little more flirty. Just an idea anyway.
July 28, 2015 at 9:12 am #369387I have a date at the airport tonight. My girlfriend has been gone for 3 weeks and I’m going to go pick her up. I feel like we are proof that Tinder can work.
February 20, 2015 at 7:47 am #336714@kate, you just reminded me of the Baz Luhrman song, “Don’t forget to wear sunscreen” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTJ7AzBIJoI
February 19, 2015 at 10:29 pm #336662@AP, thanks, you know I appreciate it.
@coco, the funeral industry totally does that. Most funeral homes are now corporately owned, so that makes it worse, same with the casket and urn companies. Fortunately, I can’t relate to the hospital industry from living in Canada.February 19, 2015 at 10:07 pm #336653@coco, after going through my dad’s funeral last year, I developed a strange interest in the rip off industry that is the funeral business. My dad was cremated, but they wanted like $800 for the cheapest box to burn him in. That is ridiculous since the whole thing probably costs $50 and it was made out of particle core, which is essentially just glue(bad for the environment). So my brothers and I built one for like $100 out of rough pine that looked way better and is a way cleaner burn. They also wanted like $500 for a really shitty looking urn, and I was like screw that, and made a nicer one for like $50. Needless to say, the whole industry pisses me off.
February 19, 2015 at 8:09 pm #336609@redrover, I’m very familiar with Markham, numerous friends there. I’m in Guelph. Have you seen that really tiny cemetery that intersects the 427 North and 401 West, I wouldn’t even know how you would pull in there.
February 19, 2015 at 7:26 pm #336601@redrover, I didn’t know that about European cemeteries. From my understanding if you don’t get buried in a cemetery, then you have to own the land and get it approved by neighbours and stuff, and of course the land would become pretty worthless if your future heirs ever needed to sell it.
February 19, 2015 at 6:53 pm #336589@redrover, that would be cool if they could bury you in a non cemetery place, but I just think cemeteries are the most depressing and weird places, that are usually located in an inconvenient space.
February 19, 2015 at 6:49 pm #336586My friends already know what I want done with my body. Most of it for science, cremate a foot or something and then uses the “sprinkling of my ashes” as an excuse to go or do something they’ve always wanted to do. If my foot doesn’t produce enough ashes for everyone to do what they want, then I’ll just tell my best friend to mix in some sand, you really can’t tell the difference.
