Yeah, I think we can all relate to that. Now I know that I’m in a place with the Cockney that I can ask if I’m invited to something he’s doing but often times, I’d rather stay home on my own 😀 I like your way of asking about the chaperon, it’s cute and will let him know that you’re interested.
Give yourself a hand though for recognising what made you feel off right away, and now you can put it right!
Yeah, it’s okay to meet a nice guy and not feel that way about him. It happens all the time! If you’re not feeling it (and only you can know), wasting your time in an exclusive arrangement takes away your opportunity to meet someone that does get your motor running.
@hfantods, I think you’re doing the right thing telling the guy you’re interested in that you have other plans – because like you say, you’ve been on one good date with him and you don’t want to put all your eggs in his basket.
But show a lot of enthusiasm for your next date with him so that he doesn’t feel like second fiddle?
Such is the dating world, I kind of look at it like this: There are MILLIONS of people out there and you’re only going to click with about 0.00001% of them. So you’ve got to trawl through the masses until you find one that’s a fit! I’m sure it is frustrating but you’re awesome and you’ll meet someone worthy of you if you just keep going, I bet you a million bucks.
Okay, bonne weekend DWers!
