Hello, I would like to know your opinion about my break up. My boyfriend broke up with me after 4 years of relationship, a difficult one but an amazing one. The last year was tough and the previous months were awful mostly for him but for me as well. He said he lost trust in me, he doesn’t want to try because he thinks that if he tries he gonna lose himself and to give me a chance while losing himself for him is not worth it, he still admits i am the love of his life, that he loves me like crazy, but he is not willing to give me or us a chance. He said he thought about this very good and he is sure in his decision and that he never goes back to his ex-s. I really believe that we could make it, if only both of us actually give it a try.
Hi Nancy. Trying takes two. Your, now ex boyfriend, already told you he is done trying and working on things. You may still love each other but other factors like the same goals and values and other compatibilities are needed to maintain a good relationship.
I suggest you move forward and stop thinking about what “could be” as it is not going to happen. Focus on why he could not trust you and fix that part of yourself for
future dating with a new person. Or if it was because the ex boyfriend just can not trust anyone, then look for a secure new partner that can trust and involve themselves.

If he lost trust in you, it’s over.
