You know them though, Lianne. They’ve been together a little over a year and just bought a place together. I think the Naked Sundays was last year when it was new and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Although maybe it’s ongoing and that’s why they wouldn’t go to brunch yesterday.
kareAugust 24, 2015 at 11:30 am #373236I went on a fourth date Thursday. It went pretty well, but I’m not really sure if we are looking for the same things. It seems kind of early to have that discussion though, so I’m just playing it by ear. If we get to a sixth date, that’s when I’ll bring it up.
And I had plans to go to the movies with my brother, and he stood me up. He lives with my parents and doesn’t have a car or job or anything, so I was kind of disappointed I kept my weekend open for him just to get blown off without even a text.
I do naked Sundays. But by myself with chocolate, Netflix, and the cats. That counts, right?
August 24, 2015 at 11:34 am #373238I have a date with my tablesaw this weekend. My girlfriend will be out of town shopping with a friend, and I have no other plans other than to make a few items for my etsy store and start a TV stand for her.
August 24, 2015 at 11:43 am #373239My date for yesterday cancelled on me morning of. People are so flaky! I have another one scheduled for Friday that I’m really hoping doesn’t flake because I think we’d get along really well.
I did get to do a bunch of really awesome things this weekend though, as it was my 3rd annual Bounce House party on Saturday.shakeourtreeAugust 24, 2015 at 12:19 pm #373254@MrMid I’ve been spending a lot of time with my DIY projects lately too! I got rid of my old, shoddy college furniture when I moved last month, and I got some of my grandma’s well-made but dated-looking pieces recently since she moved into assisted living. I painted the dresser and night stand and replaced the hardware and am currently working on spray painting a metal bed frame. They all look soooo much better.
Also, it turns out my Tinder date was serious about being friends! We’re going hiking/splashing around in some waterfalls tomorrow.
August 24, 2015 at 4:07 pm #373327@shakeourtree, I hope you primed the metal bed frame. Depending on the previous paint and the paint you’re using, the new paint might flake off quite easily without it.
