Yeah, I would probably reassess, I’m sorry ktfran. That stinks, especially on your birthday. Copa, I asked you about Typology I think. At least I was wondering. I want the lip oils. I have a problem with lip products, in that I always buy the same few shades that work, and I have a million things. But I always want more. I’ve been literally buying bougie lip balms nearly every week as that is my vice, I guess.

I’d repurchase my Typology products in the following order: lip oil, concealer, serum. I find most lip colors drying but this one isn’t. The color payoff isn’t huge, but I like that. The concealer is the reason I pulled the trigger to begin with and it’s a nice product but the tube packaging seems like a mess waiting to happen. The serum, I feel like there are similar products that have more shades available out there. I’d give their skincare products a try.

AnonymousseJanuary 15, 2024 at 10:22 am #1127636I really want to try all the typology lip oils. But I am also really hitting the hoarder limit on lip products. My latest find that has been deeply, deeply satisfying for any bathers out there- Onsen saru bath salts. I actually prefer the bath bombs because it dissolves fully and the bath salt is kind of chunky salt. I rarely feel that invigorated or moved by essential oils but this blend is like a slice of heaven. It’s like taking a bath in a Japanese forest of pine trees and is so relaxing. I found their personal shop and ordered more right away.

AnonymousseJanuary 16, 2024 at 9:22 am #1127659Thanks Leslie, I appreciate that. I wrote this little update out because I feel a lot better and wanted to type it out. I think after not processing for so long, I am or have really begun to. I’ve actually not had any bad dreams the last two nights, knock on wood.

If I had been a rotten egg in college… I’d probably keep some of those details to myself. But I’d also not be going out for drinks with the guy (as a couple or alone), especially if I eventually wised up to how much internal work I had to do.
I meant to mention… I was scrolling on TikTok the other day, as I do, and a creator who is a journalist who talks a lot on there about decentering men, calling out common trash behavior men will try to get away with, and her own past trauma has started going on advice columns, picking out columns, and reacting (ranting) to the letters. She picked an old DW column recently!
January 16, 2024 at 3:15 pm #1127692Happy belated birthday @Ktfran! I hope you and everyone else sick is feeling better. My boss also tested positive for Covid recently but thankfully I didn’t get it (and no one else in the department either). I am finally over my cold for the most part. It took forever.
I just booked us a 7-night Alaskan cruise. We are going in May! My MIL and BIL are also going. I didn’t think I would ever go on a cruise (I don’t think they seem all that appealing) but I’m actually excited about this one. Everyone who’s been on this one says it is really fun and beautiful.

@Rangerchic I also have never found the idea of a cruise appealing, but an Alaskan cruise is one of my two exceptions. (The other would be a cruise to get to Antarctica.) I hope you enjoy and please report back on whether it is worth it.- This reply was modified 11 months, 1 week ago by Kate.
