Haven’t really felt isolation as a opportunately got a roommate before the quarentine (such a visionary). Not that much, as I didn’t got supplies of gloves and sanitizer before they got out of stock everywhere.
Been working on myself, trying to block news and bullshit. Fortunate enough to have a garden, where I’m working from. Here they stopped circulation of cars from 10:00 PM onwards, so it is kinda weird to feel the quietness.
Corona has worked on strange ways with me. Felt depressed the first days, but then I thought that it was leading me nowhere. So it actually helped me to kinda try to put my shit together. Been doing excercise (indoors), eating healthy, actually sleeping. Some guided meditation works miracles before sleep time (look in youtube if interested). I think that a positive thinking is the best possible way to cope with this (easier said than done), but I think of it as a way to strenghten my inmune system.
Loved the video of Stay Home Vogue, so creative!
March 25, 2020 at 9:31 am #878457I have been tentatively diagnosed with the virus. I might be getting tested, but likely not because I am otherwise young and healthy. My symptoms are fairly minor. My daughter is also sick, but in good spirits.
I feel weirdly calm, it’s almost like now that I have it, I don’t have much else to worry about. I haven’t been in contact with anyone outside of my house.
March 25, 2020 at 10:03 am #878461Hope you and your daughter feel better soon, anonymousse!
In other news: what a time to get a positive pregnancy test. aiyaiyai.
Congrats MG!
My sis had her baby yesterday at Prentice!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom came up to take care of my nephew while she’s in the hospital. I’m trying to help out in the afternoons. My only wish is to not get the virus for the next few days so I can help out my family.
BittergaymarkMarch 25, 2020 at 11:48 am #878468Congrats, MaterialsGirl.
Hang in there, Anonymousse. So sorry to read this news, but young and healthy… it sounds like you will be fine.
Everybody else, stay sane and safe!
I have to decide when to do a quick return visit to LA to deal with bills and rent, etc. Also, pick up some clothes. This two outfit thing I got going on is tedious.
March 25, 2020 at 12:42 pm #878476Thanks all. It’ll be… interesting to say the least. I hope the world in late November is one on the mend
March 25, 2020 at 12:52 pm #878478Sending good vibes and happy thoughts to those of you who have this awful virus. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. We’re in lockdown over here and it’s really chilling how quiet my usually bustling neighborhood is.
Random question– I tried to post a topic in this section and it won’t go through. Anyone else having issues? Obviously not as pressing as *gestures around* all of this that we’re dealing with, just wanted to check.
March 25, 2020 at 12:56 pm #878480Optimist – I’m having some issues with the forums. I don’t know what’s going on. I get email notifications of new topics but they don’t show up on the site. I don’t have the bandwidth (emotionally and time-wise) to trouble-shoot but I just wanted to let you know I’m aware of the issue and I’m sorry!
March 25, 2020 at 12:58 pm #878481Don’t be sorry, Wendy!! Thanks for the heads up 🙂 Sending love!
