I doubt it would affect him much. Who knows? He just invited you to travel with him and you turned him down…why?
Lauren NicoleFebruary 4, 2017 at 2:34 pm #672103And he told me I am perhaps the lowest maintenance person he knows. Truly. I ask for nothing, am always in a great mood and never complain. It’s just who I am with him and anyone else in life I’ve ever met. My requests are tiny — what’s the plan? Hey, that phone in your hand, don’t wait until tomorrow to send me pix and tell me how much you miss me and wish I was there. Do it today. Honestly, I have no baggage. I’m simple. Simple requests and, quite frankly, respectful requests.
February 4, 2017 at 2:39 pm #672106You are low maintenance because you don’t mention your wants. You came here and complained about an issue and asked for advice and never brought up the truth with him.
I’m betting he’s had many of these casual things, and I’m betting he’s had women walk away a lot and he just moves on to the next. He is like Peter Pan in that way. He doesn’t want a real relationship. And maybe you don’t either since you can’t be honest about your feelings.
Lauren NicoleFebruary 4, 2017 at 2:46 pm #672110Ladies, let this be a lesson. When your boyfriend has been single for more than half of your life and you have great talks and he tells you months into dating that he “doesn’t open his heart up easily.” Believe him. I think he told me that six months ago.
February 4, 2017 at 2:48 pm #672111Yeah, you should have listened to him. He’s single bachelor enjoying his money. Date someone who wants a real relationship who’s preferably a little closer to your age. With similiar goals and wants in life.
Lauren NicoleFebruary 4, 2017 at 2:51 pm #672112For a guy who obviously has issues with this, honestly — no dating. No one that he knows has ever met a girl besides me… some people are just content being alone. He said as a child he played alone. Was super shy in high school. Considers himself a quiet thinker. Enjoys alone time. No matter how deep your backstory, people who like to be alone will end up alone. Fun, so this should be another interesting chat. Please, let’s make this 4 minutes instead of 4 hours. =)

I have known men like this, who keep their private life very private. They play up the “lone wolf” self image because that’s the story they enjoy telling themselves. -
