Yeah, they both screwed you over with their lack of transparency and going behind your back, and you shouldn’t trust them. I’d cut ties.
BUT, you know, maybe you dodged a bullet. When you try and try to make something work and it doesn’t, that usually means there’s a better plan for you, someplace else you’re supposed to be. So find out what that is. Listen for the right next steps.
And honestly? There’s probably a reason no one else was buying that store, and the only interested buyers were a couple of relative kids. Now your friend is stuck with a business he can’t sell, that could end up being a burden financially. It’s a burden maybe he can afford since he’s got family money. But you’re free of that burden.
Ok, from the nature of your response, it’s clear that you do care a lot what strangers think about you. Which isn’t true of everyone. I suspect this guy who wrote the post wouldn’t be bothered in the slightest by people looking at him some type of way for dating a younger woman.
My husband reported a few instances of vertigo / dizziness after the first moderna shot. Other than that, we both just had a sore arm. He already had tinnitus from basically getting his head run over during a fight outside of Fenway Park a hundred years ago.
I know that post was about actual Covid, not the vaccine, but the dizziness thing made me think of it.
Omg the SNL rap video from last night, “Boomers Got The Vaxx”
Dead.
Yes, apparently the pharmacy sites drop appointments around midnight and around 4-5 am. And there’s a workaround where you choose Hawaii in order to get into a waiting room, then you choose your real location. My friend told me about this, and it worked for a bunch of people she knows. I also saw it confirmed in an article written by a volunteer org. Google the CVS appointment workaround.
Or just find the CA equivalent of the Massachusetts Covid Vaccine Help volunteer group. You register on their site and they use all their crazy tricks to get you an appt. my husband just became eligible Monday (because he had chosen Sales / transport as his job when he signed up with the state), and they got him his appointment the same week. Same ppl who got my parents their appt and their friends etc.
I first learned about love bombing many years ago when my neighbor, an attractive divorced woman in her 30s, helped expose this guy she thought was her fiancé, but he turned out to be one of those serial scamming sociopaths with lots of different women who thought he was their boyfriend or fiancé and he was tricking them out of their money and buying Bentleys to trick other women. Sociopaths and abusers use this tactic to suck in vulnerable women.
But it also happens with people who have whatever mental health issues that make them unable to have a healthy long-term relationship. They start off at 60, go to 100, and then back to zero within weeks, or maybe 3 months tops.
Both types are a huge liability. Know your own worth, and also know that it takes normal (well-adjusted) people some time to form a real connection, and that it happens progressively, not instantaneously.
That’s great! I think a lot of people have gotten them that way who aren’t technically eligible. My friend had heard from someone about another site like the one near me, where you could get in line and wait for extras. She tried 4 different days and finally got it.
I do side-eye people who lie and say they work a certain job or smoke or have underlying conditions (because they know no one checks these things), but at least they’re getting vaccinated. However, it does seem like taking an appointment away from someone else, whereas a line or waiting list is just extra doses that would go unused.
