Oh my gosh, wonderful @Ver!!!! I hope you’re able to celebrate with all of you loved ones when we’re able. Wear your wedding dress again!! You look so happy!!!
It’s truly amazing bgm the small amount of clothes actually needed. When the husband and I went to Africa for two weeks, we only packed a 45 liter backpack with clothes, shoes and toiletries. We had smaller packs for camera gear, binoculars, chargers and tablet/kindle.
I remember coming home and the when leaving customs, the border patrol person was shocked all we had was carry on luggage. He commented on it.
That happened to me too when I went to Mexico last year. Carry on only. I was easily able to get an earlier flight home after security because of that.
It’s quite freeing, packing lite.
Lol.
We have no kids and I want my husband to get a vasectomy. I have an IUD, but god, I want to be doubly protected.
@Ver, I hope you have a lovely day and weekend! Congrats. I’m so very happy for you.
True anon, divorce rate might go up a little too.
I’m glad you’re doing ok @helen.
So I wonder if in nine to 12 months there will be a baby boom? Likely. BGM’s worst nightmare.
Also, the IL order has been placed. Will be official at 3:00.
It’s already in the Tribune.
@Copa, I’ve been basically doing as the cashier suggests. Go every few days in the AM. See what they have. Pick up what I need.
Monday – no eggs, no canned goods. Wednesday – eggs and canned tomatoes.
Fresh vegetables all the times I’ve been!!
People are animals.
I found (at least here) that going every couple of days in the morning works. The stores have restocked meat and produce in the mornings.
Trash bags and paper products, no effing clue. I haven’t been in a store yet with paper products available.
Sending you good thoughts @Helen.
IL.
I know CA issued yesterday? And NY just issued a few min ago.
I’m sorry Helen!! That sucks.
4 different sources now that our Governor has a state-wide lock down mandate signed and ready to go whenever he wants to issue it. It’s just a matter of time.
