@ver… it’s not… and it sounds perfect.
The husband and I got engaged/married under similar circumstances to you and this person (me being you and a close friend being the sister). Without boring you, it ended up working out and everyone had the wedding they wanted. I was even in the friend’s wedding, which happened to be only six weeks after mine. All our friends came to both and many had to travel to both.
Anyway, people will make it work as long as they aren’t assholes.
Ugh, @ver, do they really expect you to put your life on hold for a year plus? Or is it just the engagement? I say eff them.
I will say… the first time I got engaged, my fiance’s older sister got engaged shortly after and I was nothing but thrilled for them! People who aren’t are assholes.
I’m ok with Disney. I have fun the few times I’ve gone. But a wedding. In May. Gross.
In lieu of Whole30, just do what I did and get extremely sick where you don’t eat for three days. I call it the Whole30/10. You lose weight. Your taste buds wane. The thought of food disgusts you. I kid, I kid!
However, I’m so excited. I’m working on my first apple as I type.
I like the picture @thehizzy!
I’m so happy I’m in Napa today and not Chicago!!!!
This will be the first V-day I’m celebrating maybe ever. We have broadway in Chicago season tickets and our evening is the 2nd thurs after a show starts. Our Dear Evan Hansen tickets happen to fall on V-day. We could prob make a killing, but I really want to see that one.
NP! I’ve had similar issues in my neck and lower back. It’s usually caused by a muscle strain, which inflames it. Ice and a muscle relaxer should help. And rest. After icing it a bit, I also like to take a steamy shower to help loosen it up.
EDT: I’m not a doctor by any means. I have seen a Physical Therapist and Sports Injury person and have had the same suggestions given by both and that treatment has worked for me.
